ARTS FOR ALL IS A NON-PROFIT THAT OFFERS ACCESSIBLE ARTISTIC OPPORTUNITIES TO CHILDREN IN THE NEW YORK CITY AREA WHO FACE SOCIO-ECONOMIC, PHYSICAL OR EMOTIONAL BARRIERS TO EXPLORING THE ARTS. THROUGH ARTS FOR ALL, PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS WORK WITH YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS TO BUILD SELF-CONFIDENCE, SELF-EXPRESSION, TEAMWORK, RESILIENCE, AND CREATIVITY IN CHILDREN.

WORKSHOPS:ARTS FOR ALL PROVIDES FREE ARTS EDUCATION WORKSHOPS AND RESIDENCIES IN MULTIPLE ART FIELDS INCLUDING: DRAMA, LITERATURE, DANCE, MUSIC, FILM/VIDEO ART, AND VISUAL ARTS FOR UNDERSERVED SCHOOLS AND YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS ACROSS ALL BOROUGHS OF NEW YORK CITY. WORKSHOPS ARE HOSTED BY PROFESSIONAL TEACHING ARTISTS, MAINLY DURING THE SCHOOL DAY, THOUGH THERE ARE ALSO SELECT PROGRAMS AFTER SCHOOL AND WEEKENDS. IN 2023, OUR ARTISTIC RESIDENCY PROGRAM (ARP) IS ESTIMATED TO HAVE SERVED OVER 800 STUDENTS IN-PERSON THROUGHOUT APPROXIMATELY 373 WORKSHOPS BETWEEN ALL 10 ARP PARTNERS. OUR LITERACY THROUGH THE ARTS PROGRAM (LTA) IS ESTIMATED TO HAVE SERVED OVER 1,400 STUDENTS IN-PERSON THROUGHOUT APPROXIMATELY 513 WORKSHOPS BETWEEN ALL 7 LTA PARTNERS. ADDITIONALLY, OUR VIRTUAL CLASSROOM ON OUR WEBSITE AND YOUTUBE CHANNEL PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL CONTENT ON A RANGE OF ARTISTIC TOPICS, FROM VISUAL ARTS, MUSIC, DANCE, THEATER, AND MORE. BY 2023, WE CREATED A TOTAL OF 186 VIDEOS BETWEEN 18 DIFFERENT SERIES. WE ALSO CREATED A FUN AND EDUCATIONAL INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES SECTION FOR STUDENTS.OUR PROGRAMMING AND EVALUATION PRACTICES ARE FOCUSED ON IMPROVING CORE VALUES IN STUDENTS. 2023 CORE VALUE METRICS IN SELECT CLASSES AVERAGED THE FOLLOWING ESTIMATES: SELF-EXPRESSION - 40% GROWTH (ARP), TEAMWORK - 60% GROWTH (ARP), CREATIVITY - 60% GROWTH (LTA), SELF-CONFIDENCE - 60% GROWTH (LTA), RESILIENCE - 43% GROWTH (ARP).
OTHER PROGRAMMING:ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING EXPENSES INCLUDE PORTIONS OF SALARIES SPECIFICALLY USED TO IMPLEMENT PROGRAMS, MARKETING OF PROGRAMS, SELECT SUPPLIES, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHING ARTISTS, AND OTHER PROGRAMMING OVERHEAD NOT ACCOUNTED FOR IN WORKSHOPS OR AUDIENCE PROJECT. AUDIENCE PROJECT:THROUGH THE AUDIENCE PROJECT, ARTS FOR ALL BRINGS A FREE PROFESSIONAL THEATER PRODUCTION TO CHILDREN IN NYC. PREVIOUS PRODUCTIONS INCLUDE "THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES," "PINOCCHIO!," PIG PEN THEATRE'S "THE MOUNTAIN SONG, AND DARIAN DAUCHAN'S "VOICE POWER." IN 2023, OUR AUDIENCE PROJECT PROGRAM FEATURED A FIELD TRIP TO THE BROOKLYN CHILDREN'S MUSEUM, GIVING APPROXIMATELY 124 STUDENTS TOTAL IN 3RD, 4TH AND 5TH GRADE AT RENAISSANCE CHARTER SCHOOL THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT THE MUSEUM AND EXPERIENCE A SPECIAL PERFORMANCE OF "BLAST OFF! (TO SPACE) THE SHOW, CREATED AND PERFORMED BY ARTIST, MELISSA SMITH: A MULTIMEDIA ONE PERSON PERFORMANCE INCORPORATING MUSIC, LIGHTS AND PROJECTION ART, PUPPETRY AND PHYSICAL COMEDY. THIS FIELD TRIP CAME AFTER COMPLETING THE FOUR-PART WORKSHOP SERIES "BLAST OFF! ASTRONAUT TRAINING RESIDENCY."
