THE CORPORATION'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE MUSIC AND CULTURE OF THE APPALACHIAN REGION BY SHOWCASING REGION'S MUSICIANS. THE MAJOR FOCUS OF THE CORPORATION IS THE PRODUCTION OF THE PROGRAM "SONG OF THE MOUNTAINS" WHICH IS AIRED ON PUBLIC TV.

DURING 2021, THE CORPORATION PRODUCED 12 MONTHLY "SONG OF THE MOUNTAINS" PRODUCTIONS AND DISTRIBUTED THEM TO THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION ASSOC (NETA,) WHO IN TURN DISTRIBUTES THESE PRODUCTIONS TO APPROX. 160 PBS STATIONS. OVERALL RESULT WAS APPROX. 7,000 TELECASTS IN 2021.
