WATER FOR HUMANS' MISSION IS TO PROVIDE LOW COST, CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION SOLUTIONS TO UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS WHILE ENSURING THAT WATER REMAINS A LOCAL, PUBLIC RESOURCE. THIS YEAR WE CONTINUED TO PURCHASE HANDMADE TEXTILES FROM A MEXICAN COOP AND USED THEM AS GIFTS FOR DONATIONS.

WATER FOR HUMANS HAS REDESIGNED THE MOLDS FOR LA MAZATECA GEN2 COOK STOVES, MAKING THEM OUT OF PLASTIC INSTEAD OF WOOD. THE WOOD MADE THE MOLDS VERY HEAVY AND DIFFICULT TO MOVE THROUGH MOUNTAIN TRAILS FROM HOUSE TO HOUSE. WE PLAN TO REPLACE ALL THE MOLDS WITH THE PLASTIC.
WATER FOR HUMANS LENGTHENED THE LIVES OF OUR LA MAZATECA GEN1 STOVES (BUILT IN 2014), THAT ARE STILL IN USE IN BAYALEMO, CHIAPAS, BY PROVIDING THEM WITH WOOD SUPPORTS (NEW PART) AND COMALS (REPLACEMENT PART).
