CITY OF VANCOUVER FUNDING IS USED FOR SMALL AND LARGE SCALE CREEK RESTORATION, MICRO-GRANT PROGRAM, OUTREACH AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS WHERE WE PROVIDE EDUCATION ON LOCAL STORMWATER, WATERSHED HEALTH AND PRIVATE PROPERTY CREEK RESTORATION.


OTHER NON-CITY PROGRAMS INCLUDE CLARK CONSERVATION DISTRICT: AN EDUCATION AND HOMEOWNER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TO REDUCE BACTERIA IN CLARK COUNTY WATERSHEDS BY OFFERING SEPTIC SYSTEM INSPECTION/ PUMPING/ MINOR REPAIRS; CLARK COUNTY GREEN NEIGHBORS: VITRUAL ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTARY FILM SERIES; RIDGEFIELD LIONS: VOLUNTEER-INVOLVED RESTORATION WITH RIDGEFIELD SCHOOL DISTRICT; LOWER COLUMBIA FISH ENHANCEMENT GROUP: RESTORATION AND STREAMSIDE ENHANCEMENT ALONG THE LOWER LITTLE WASHOUGAL RIVER; NORMAN E. THE MANLEY CREEK RESTORATION PROJECT IS FUNDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY AND INVOLVES STREAMSIDE INVASIVE REMOVAL AND PLANTING ON TEN ACRES OF PUBLIC LAND.
