THE FOUNDATION ENGAGED OVER 500 YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS, PLACING THEM IN INTERNSHIPS AND SERVICE CREW PROJECTS WITH OUR FEDERAL PARTNERS ACROSS THE COUNTRY; ABOUT 400 YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS WERE ALSO ENGAGED IN OTHER CONSERVATION CORP ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CAMPING, VOLUNTEER WORK AND AWARENESS CAMPAIGNS. THE URBAN YOUTH CORPS PROGRAM WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR ABOUT 25 YOUNG ADULTS.
