NCCHR: OPERATES THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS (NCCHR), A MUSEUM IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA, THAT PROVIDES ATTRACTIONS AND EXHIBITS THAT CONNECT THE AMERICAN CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT TO TODAY'S GLOBAL HUMAN RIGHTS MOVEMENTS. IT IS MOST RENOWNED FOR ITS EXHIBIT OF PERSONAL PAPERS AND ITEMS OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. FROM THE MOREHOUSE COLLEGE MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. COLLECTION.


TRUTH AND TRANSFORMATION: THE TRUTH AND TRANSFORMATION INITIATIVE IS DEDICATED TO TEACHING A MORE COMPLETE AND INCLUSIVE ACCOUNT OF THE PAST, ONE THAT HELPS COMMUNITIES UNDERSTAND HOW WE REACHED THE PRESENT-WITH ITS CONFLICTS, OPPORTUNITIES AND URGENT NEEDS. TRUTH AND TRANSFORMATION WILL ADDRESS PEOPLE AND EVENTS IN ATLANTA THAT HAVE NOT BEEN RECOGNIZED OR MEMORIALIZED, WITH A FOCUS ON TWO GLARING OMISSIONS: THE 1906 ATLANTA RACE MASSACRE AND FORCED LABOR AT THE CHATTAHOOCHEE BRICK COMPANY AND BELLWOOD QUARRY.


LAW ENFORCEMENT (REDEFINING POLICING TO AFFIRM AND INSTILL HUMAN RIGHTS): REPAIR IS AN ONLINE EDUCATION PROGRAM THAT HELPS POLICE BUILD TRUST IN COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE AND TEACHES BEST PRACTICES TO PROTECT CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS.
