TAPROOT STRIVES TO CREATE A VIBRANT COMMUNITY OF FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS BY OFFERING A WIDE VARIETY OF SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES. IN 2020-2021, TAPROOT NAVIGATED THE CHALLENGES OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AND SERVED OVER 450 CHILDREN AGES 5 TO 12 WITH PROGRAMMING THAT INCLUDED:FALL AND SPRING PROGRAMMING FOR OVER 100 FAMILIESSUMMER CAMP PROGRAMMING FOR OVER 400 FAMILIESTAPROOT HAS PROVIDED CHILDREN WITH CRITICALLY IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL INTERACTION AND HEALTHY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY THROUGHOUT MUCH OF THE PANDEMIC, WHEN OTHER OPTIONS SUCH AS SCHOOL AND ACTIVITIES WERE SHUT DOWN.
