DISABILITY RESOURCE CENTER PROVIDED SERVICES TO MORE THAN 3,000 INDIVIDUALS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR. THE ORGANIZATION IS A FEDERALLY FUNDED CENTER FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING (CIL). ITS MISSION IS TO EMPOWER PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES TO BECOME INDEPENDENT AND MAINTAIN THEIR INDEPENDENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. THE CENTER SPECIALIZED IN PROVIDING ACCESS TO TECHNOLOGY TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND IN ADDITION HAS PROVIDED ASSISTANCE TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED OF TRANSITIONAL HOUSING.
