THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION (NIPTE) IS A COLLABORATION OF ACADEMIA, INDUSTRY AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS USING RESEARCH, OUTREACH AND EDUCATION TO SUPPORT THE MISSION. NIPTE LEVERAGES SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES TO BRING CONFIDENCE AND RELIABILITY FOR PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS TO CONSUMERS WORLDWIDE. NIPTE'S MISSION IS TO IMPROVE THE WAY MEDICINES ARE DESIGNED, DEVELOPED AND MANUFACTURED TO MEET THE NEEDS OF PATIENTS IN THE 21ST CENTURY.

DURING FY21, NIPTE COMPLETED OR CONTINUED WORK ON 3 MAJOR RESEARCH PROJECTS. THESE PROJECTS SUPPORT NIPTE'S MISSION TO MAKE MEDICINES MORE AFFORDABLE AND OF HIGHER QUALITY. IN ADDITION, NIPTE SUPPORTED THE EDUCATION COMPONENT BY DEVELOPING AND DELIVERING ADVANCED PHARMACEUTICAL TOPICS TO THE WORKFORCE.
