FELLOWSHIPS AND AWARDS - THE FOUNDATION FUNDS TWO TO FOUR FELLOWSHIPS ANNUALLY FOR DOCTORAL-LEVEL INDIVIDUALS ENROLLED IN ACCREDITED FELLOWSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMS IN PEDIATRIC INFECTIOUS DISEASES. ALL FELLOWSHIPS ARE DESIGNED TO ADVANCE THE FIELD OF PEDIATRIC ID WITH RESPECT TO BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF THE DISEASES AND IMPROVING OUTCOMES IN AFFECTED CHILDREN.
VACCINE EDUCATION - THIS PROGRAM IS A COMBINED EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS TO HELP COMBAT VACCINE MISINFORMATION AND ADDRESS VACCINE HESITANCY. IT AIMS TO ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS THROUGH A WEB-BASED EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM AND A HANDBOOK APP.
