THE GO FUNDS METHOD IS TO IMPLEMENT OUR PROGRAMS THROUGH LOCAL, INDIGENOUS PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS. BY PROVIDING TECHNICAL, OPERATIONAL AND FINANCIAL TRAINING TO OUR LOCAL PARTNERS, THE GO FUND STRIVES TO ACHIEVE LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY OF OUR PROGRAMS, SO THAT WOMEN AND CHILDREN GET THE SUPPORT THEY NEED REGARDLESS OF OUTSIDE RESOURCES. COMMITMENT: THE GO FUND IS COMMITTED TO SERVING THE POOREST OF THE POOR, SPECIFICALLY VULNERABLE WOMEN IN AFRICA. WE RECOGNIZE THAT IN ORDER TO REDUCE POVERTY AND SUFFERING IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD, WE MUST IMPROVE THE LIVELIHOOD OF THEIR WOMEN. A TRUTH THAT CUTS ACROSS SOCIETAL AND CULTURAL DIFFERENCES IS THAT WOMEN ARE TYPICALLY THE PRIMARY CUSTODIAN OF A FAMILYS NUTRITIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND ECONOMIC LONGEVITY. IN 2023 WE EXPANDED OUR REACH IN BOTH KENYA AND GHANA IN LINE WITH OUR MISSION TO ELEVATE THE LIVES OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN. TWO OF THE PROJECTS OF DISTINCTION THAT TOOK PLACE IN GHANA WERE THE BUILD OUT OF A MATERNITY WARD IN ASEBU GHANA AND A COMPLETE REMODEL OF THE HOME FOR HOPE, A BOARDING FACILITY FOR PARENTLESS CHILDREN WHO ATTEND PATHFINDER ACADEMY - A SCHOOL SPONSORED BY THE GO FUND. IN KENYA, WE STARTED A CULINARY AND ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING CENTER WHICH DELIVERS HOT MEALS TO THE ELDERLY AND TO DISADVANTAGE CHILDREN IN THE AREA. ADDITIONALLY WE IMPROVED WATER AND SANITATION AT A SCHOOL FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED IN KISII KENYA. ALSO CONTRIBUTED ONE TIME FUNDS FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE FEBRUARY 2023 EARTHQUAKE IN TURKEY.
