THE MOST SIGNIFICANT PROGRAM HELD BY NAAIA NY IS THE NORTHEAST INSURANCE CONFERENCE EVENT (ALSO KNOWN AS THE "NICE CONFERENCE"). THE CONFERENCE IS ONE DAY. PRIOR TO THE PANDEMIC, WE HELD THE NICE CONFERENCE AROUND MAY OR JUNE. WE HAD A LITTLE LESS THAN 200 ATTENDEES. DURING THE CONFERENCE WE PROVIDED CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES WITH SPEAKERS FROM ALL OVER THE COUNTRY, WHO HAD SOME FORM OF INSURANCE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE. THE CONFERENCE ALSO PROVIDED NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR THOSE IN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY. THESE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES HAVE LED TO OUR MEMBERS OBTAINING PROMOTIONS, LASTING CONNECTIONS, AND/OR OBTAINING NEW CLIENTS. NAAIA NY HAS HELD SMALLER EVENTS SUCH AS THE NICE CONFERENCE TO ACCOMPLISH THE SAME OBJECTIVES FOR ITS MEMBERS, WHICH INCLUDE NETWORKING, ADVANCEMENT IN CAREERS, AND LONG-LASTING CONNECTIONS IN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY.
