WE CONDUCT RESEARCH ON THE NEXUS BETWEEN RELIGION, POLITICS, HUMAN RIGHTS, AND CONSCIOUS EVOLUTION. WE PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO CURRENT TRENDS RELATED TO WAR AND THE RISE OF AUTHORITARIANISM AND CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM. WE ALSO STUDY AND ADDRESS THE DECLINE IN DEMOCRACY (INTERNATIONALLY AND IN THE U.S.), AND THE LOSS OF CIVIL AND RELIGIOUS RIGHTS. RECENTLY, OUR PEACE PRACTICE PROGRAMS HAVE FOCUSED ON THE STATUS OF WOMEN'S RIGHTS IN AMERICA AND AROUND THE WORLD, AS WELL AS THE GLOBAL REGRESSION OF THE "SPECTRUM OF CONSCIOUSNESS" BASED ON SOCIAL MODELS SUCH AS INTEGRAL THEORY AND SPIRAL DYNAMICS.
