TRYING TOGETHER SUPPORTS HIGH-QUALITY CARE AND EDUCATION FOR YOUNG CHILDREN BY PROVIDING ADVOCACY, COMMUNITY RESOURCES, AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE NEEDS AND RIGHTS OF CHILDREN, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THE INDIVIDUALS WHO INTERACT WITH THEM.

CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT IN THE EARLY CHILDHOOD PROFESSION IS VITAL TO ACHIEVING THE OPTIMAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN. EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS ARE DIVERSE LEARNERS GROWING IN THEIR PRACTICE. WE ARE COMMITTED TO MEETING THEM WHERE THEY ARE AND ENSURING OUR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OFFERINGS ARE CULTURALLY COMPETENT AND REFLECTIVE IN NATURE. THE CORE FOCUS OF OUR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT IS PLAY, RELATIONSHIPS, AND LEADERSHIP. IN THE PAST YEAR, TRYING TOGETHER PROVIDED 12,500 HOURS OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT THROUGH A COMBINATION OF CONTRACTS, GRANTS, AND INNOVATIVE CONFERENCES.
