THE PITTSBURGH COUNCIL FOR INTERNATIONAL VISITORS DBA GLOBALPITTSBURGH WAS IN THE MIDST OF AN ACTIVE PROGRAMMING YEAR DURING FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020 WHEN IN-PERSON EXCHANGE PROGRAMING WAS PAUSED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE AS OF MARCH 11, 2020 THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE FISCAL YEAR. DURING THE 2021 FISCAL YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION DESIGNED AND IMPLEMENTED SEVERAL ITINERARIES FOR PARTICIPANTS IN THE IVLP, INCLUDING ITINERARIES FOCUSING ON EACH OF THE TOPICS OF ENERGY, CYBERSECURITY, AND GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY, IN ADDITION TO PROJECTS EXAMINING PROMOTING SOCIAL CHANGE THROUGH THE ARTS, CITY PLANNING, AND EDUCATION IN THE DIGITAL AGE.
