THE ORGANIZATION ENCOURAGES RESEARCH INTO LOCAL HISTORY, ENCOURAGES THE PRESERVATION OF HISTORIC RESOURCES, PRESENTS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND COOPERATES WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS INTERESTED IN HISTORICAL PRESERVATION AND PROGRAMS.
