FOSTER NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL SPORTS COMPETITION TO DEVELOP CHARACTER, ACCOUNTABILITY, RESPECT, SPORTSMANSHIP, AND PHYSICAL FITNESS AMONG THE YOUTH OF MT. LEBANON, PA, AND TO PROMOTE, ENCOURAGE, AND IMPROVE THE STANDARD OF INTERSCHOLASTIC HOCKEY.

CONDUCT REGULAR SEASON TRYOUTS, GAMES, AND TOURNAMENTS/PLAYOFFS FOR 5 TEAMS: VARSITY, JUNIOR VARSITY 1, JUNIOR VARSITY 2, MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND MIDDLE SCHOOL 2. THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 100 PLAYERS AT THE VARSITY, JUNIOR VARSITY, AND MIDDLE SCHOOL LEVELS. THE VARSITY, JV, AND MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAMS PLAYED 23, 18, AND 17 GAMES RESPECTIVELY. A JUNIOR BLUES DEVELOPMENT TEAM FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS NOT MEETING THE AGE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAM HAS 20 PLAYERS AND CONDUCTS 10 PRACTICES DURING THE SEASON. PRACTICE JERSEYS, ICE TIME, AND EQUIPMENT FOR COACHES ARE PROVIDED.
