THE UE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FUND (THE ORGANIZATION) IS A PENNSYLVANIA NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT WAS FOUNDED IN 1994. ITS MISSION IS TO BUILD NEW SKILLS AMONG DIVERSE WORKER LEADERS TO HELP THEM FIGHT FOR ECONOMIC AND RACIAL EQUALITY, FOR A JUST TRANSITION FOR WORKERS, AND TO UNITE WORKING PEOPLE ACROSS BORDERS.

THE TRADE UNIONS FOR ENERGY DEMOCRACY (TUED) PROGRAM IS A GLOBAL MULTI SECTOR PROGRAM TO ADVANCE DEMOCRATIC DIRECTION AND CONTROL OF ENERGY TO PROMOTE SOLUTIONS TO CLIMATE CRISIS AND ENERGY POVERTY.


THE EMERGENCY WORKERS EDUCATION PROGRAM OFFERS TRAINING AND RESOURCES TO WORKERS THAT WERE DIRECTLY IMPACTED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. A SPECIFIC PROJECT IN THIS PROGRAM IS THE EMERGENCY WORKPLACE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE (EWOC).


THE SOUTHERN WORKERS JUSTICE PROGRAM FOCUSES ON EDUCATING PUBLIC SECTOR EMPLOYEES IN NORTH CAROLINA AND VIRGINIA ON THEIR RIGHTS AS WORKERS.


THE INTERNATIONAL AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOCUS ON EXCHANGES AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES INVOLVING WORKERS ATTENDING INTERNATIONAL EVENTS TO SUPPORT WORKER SOLIDARITY AND THE CLIMATE JUSTICE PROGRAM SEEKS TO CLEAN UP THE POLLUTION BY RAIL TRANSIT CORRIDORS THROUGH INVESTMENT IN CLEANER LOCOMOTIVE ENGINES BUILT BY UNION LABOR..
