IOCC PROVIDED EMERGENCY RESPONSE SERVICES IN VARIOUS COUNTRIES, INCLUDING BAHAMAS, TURKEY, LIBYA, ARMENIA, USA, POLAND, UKRAINE, ROMANIA, GREECE, GEORGIA, JWBG, LEBANON, JORDAN, SYRIA AND ETHIOPIA. IOCC RESPONDED TO EMERGENCIES BY PROVIDING VARIOUS RESOURCES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD, FOOD VOUCHERS, EMERGENCY KITS, BLANKETS AND HYGIENE KITS TO VICTIMS OF NATURAL DISASTERS SUCH AS HURRICANES, EARTHQUAKES AND FIRES, DROUGHT AND WAR REFUGEES. WE PROVIDED SHELTER AND PSYCHOSOCIAL COUNSELING FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH AND ADULTS AFFECTED BY THESE DISASTERS. IOCC ALSO RESPONDED TO EMERGENCIES BY SENDING OUT TEAMS OF VOLUNTEERS FOR CLEAN-UP EFFORTS AND REHABILITATING HOUSES, FARMS AND WATER RESOURCES.
IOCC PROVIDED HEALTH PROGRAM SERVICES IN VARIOUS COUNTRIES, INCLUDING UGANDA, ETHIOPIA, HAITI, USA, ARMENIA, SUDAN, KOSOVO, GEORGIA, GREECE, SERBIA, JWBG, LEBANON, JORDAN AND SYRIA. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO PROVIDING HEALTH SCREENING AND TREATMENT FOR CHILDREN REQUIRING NUTRITIONAL INTERVENTION, PROVIDING HEALTH AND NUTRITION EDUCATION TO CHILDREN'S PARENTS AND GUARDIANS, AND TRAINING TEACHERS AND STAFF TO CONDUCT BASIC HEALTH SCREENING, AND FIRST AID SKILLS. IOCC PROVIDED CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION TO CHILDREN, ADULTS AND FARMERS IN COUNTRIES AFFECTED BY CONTAMINATED WATER AND POOR SANITATION. IOCC SUPPORTED ACCESS TO QUALITY AND SUBSIDIZED PHCC SERVICES, MAINTAINED AND MOBILIZED MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT, INTEGRATED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, AND PROMOTED AND SUPPORTED INFANT AND YOUNG CHILD FEEDING. IOCC HAS HELPED MORE THAN 300,000 CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO ARE AFFECTED WITH OR AT RISK OF PODO IN ETHIOPIA WITH TREATMENT TO EASE THEIR SUFFERING AND PREVENTION THROUGH FOOT HYGIENE CLASSES AND SHOE DISTRIBUTIONS.
IOCC PROVIDED AGRICULTURE AND FOOD SECURITY PROGRAMS IN VARIOUS COUNTRIES, INCLUDING MONTENEGRO, GREECE, SERBIA, KOSOVO, GEORGIA, BOSNIA, JWBG, LEBANON AND ETHIOPIA. WE PROVIDED EMERGENCY NUTRITIONAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN UNDER AGE 5 AND PREGNANT AND LACTATING WOMEN WHO LACK NUTRITIOUS FOOD. IOCC ALSO HELPED DISPLACED PEOPLE AND HOST COMMUNITIES IN NEED WITH EMERGENCY FOOD, BLANKETS AND HYGIENE ITEMS. EMERGENCY WASH PROGRAMMING HAS RESTORED ACCESS TO PORTABLE WATER FOR OVER 25,000 PEOPLE BY REPLACING TWO WATER PUMPS AND REHABILITATING DEEP BOREHOLES DAMAGED BY CONFLICT. IOCC CREATED AN AWARD-WINNING COMMUNITY KITCHEN PROGRAM, TRAINING LOCAL LEBANESE AND SYRIAN REFUGEE WOMEN TO PREPARE FOOD TOGETHER IN LARGE QUANTITIES.
