PROMOTING CULTURAL ENRICHMENT OF THE RESIDENTS OF ELK COUNTY AND EXPANDING THE OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN THE ARTS AND ENHANCING THE LIVES OF THE COUNTY RESIDENTS AND THE VARIOUS LOCAL ARTS BY OFFERING EXPEREINCES IN THE ARTS, PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND ADVICE, AND SUPPORTING PERFORMERS, MUSICIANS, ARTISTS, ARTISANS AND WRITERS.

PARTICIPATION IN THE PENNSYLVANIA PARTNERS IN THE ARTS PROGRAM BY REGRANTING FUNDS FROM TO PENNSYLVANIA COUNCIL ON THE ARTS. GRANTS WERE AWARDED TO AREA ORGANIZATIONS TO PROMOTE THE CULTURAL ENRICHMENT OF THE RESIDENTS OF ELK AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO THE ARTS THROUGH VARIOUS WORKSHOPS, PROGRAMS, PRESENTATIONS AND PROJECTS


PROVIDING SUPPORT TO LOCAL PERFORMERS, MUSICIANS, ARTISTS, ARTISANS AND WRITERS; ENHANCING THE LIVES OF, AND PROVIDING CULTURAL ENRICHMENT TO THE RESIDENT OF ELK COUNTY THROUGH THE ECCOTA SALES GALLERY AND LOCAL EXHIBITS


PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY AND ADVICE THROUGH CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS ON VARIOUS PAINTING AND DRAWING MEDIUMS, PHOTOGRAPHY, POTTERY AND GLASSWORK FOR ADULTS & YOUTH. INCLUDING YOUTH SUMMER CAMPS FOR THATRE AND VISUAL ARTS, PERFORMANCES AND EXHIBITIONS.
