RESIDENTIAL AND DOMESTIC SERVICES (FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER) FOR THE MENTALLY ILL HOMELESS. DONATED GOODS AND SERVICES AMOUNTED TO $105,000. COMMUNITY OF CARING OPERATED 24 HOURS/DAY, 7 DAYS/WEEK. THE AGENCY PROVIDED 13,786 NIGHTS OF SHELTER FOR 326 UNDUPLICATED PERSONS. DURING THAT TIME MORE THAN 53,050 MEALS AND SNACKS WERE SERVED TO RESIDENTS AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. THE AGENCY HELPED 24 WOMEN AND MEN OBTAIN PERMANENT HOUSING.


RENTAL PROPERTIES - COMMUNITY OF CARING PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL HOUSING WHICH HELPS MEN AND WOMEN MOVE FROM THE EMERGENCY SHELTER INTO EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE HOUSING WHERE THEY SIGN A LEASE, PAY RENT MONTHLY, AND ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING. THE AGENCY CURRENTLY HAS THREE HOUSES THAT PROVIDE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING.


FOOD AND MEDICAL AID PROVIDED TO FOREIGN POPULATIONS. DUE TO THE NATURE OF AID PROVIDED THE NUMBER OF CLIENTS SERVED IS INDETERMINABLE.
