SALTWORK PRODUCES ORIGINAL PLAYS THAT EDUCATE, CHALLENGE, AND INSPIRE K-12 TO MAKE HEALTHY CHOICES WHEN FACED WITH VARIOUS SOCIAL ISSUES INCLUDING DRUGS AND ALCOHOL, BULLYING, PRESCRIPTION DRUGS, SOCIAL SKILLS, ETC. WE TYPICALLY PERFORM 100-130 SHOWS PER SCHOOL YEAR TO OVER 18,000 STUDENTS THROUGHOUT PENNSYLVANIA. WE ALSO CONDUCT A YOUNG ACTOR STUDIO FOR CHILDREN AGES 10-16 WHERE A WELL-ROUNDED EDUCATION IN THEATRE BASED ON LITERATURE CAN BE OBTAINED. THIS TAKES PLACE IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN ALLEGHENY COUNTY AND IS DONE IN EIGHT-WEEK SEMESTERS AND SUMMER CAMPS.
