REGIONAL ADOPTION EXCHANGE SERVICES CHILDREN, FAMILIES AND AGENCIES. EXCHANGE SERVICES INCLUDE RECRUITING AND ASSISTING INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS IN ATTAINING INFORMATION AND REFERRALS AS WELL AS COORDINATING INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR PARENTS AND PROFESSIONALS.


BLACK ADOPTION SERVICES: FAMILY RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION PROVIDES INFORMATIONAL AND REFERRAL SERVICES INCLUDING COMMUNITY AWARENESS ACTIVITIES. ADDITIONALLY, IT FOCUSES ON THE PARTICULAR CULTURAL VALUES AND NEEDS OF THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY.


BLACK ADOPTION SERVICES: FAMILIES FOR CHILDREN PROVIDES INFORMATION, RECRUITMENT, REFERRAL AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO AFRICAN-AMERICAN COUPLES AND INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN ADOPTION AND FOSTER CARE.


OTHER PROGRAMS SERVICES INCLUDES FAMILY CONNECTIONS AND OUTPATIENT THERAPY WHICH WORK TO MAINTAIN FOSTER AND ADOPTIVE FAMILIES WITH NEW PLACEMENTS AND PREVENTION OF CHILDREN FROM RE-ENTERING THE CHILD WELFARE AGENCIES. THIS PLUS OTHER PROGRAMS PROVIDE FAMILY PRESERVATION SERVICES AND PRIMARLY INCLUDES FAMILIES FROM WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA BUT WILL ALSO INCLUDE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES FROM OUTSIDE THIS AREA.
