WE RESPOND TO THE NEED FOR HUMAN INTERACTION AND CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE TO HELP EACH OTHER. WE OFFER TRAINING TO PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONS IN THE LISTENING SKILLS NEEDED TO SUPPORT THOSE IN CRISES.

CARING CONTACT ANSWERS THE 988 SUICIDE & CRISIS LIFELINE FOR 7 COUNTIES IN NEW JERSEY AND ALSO OPERATES A GENERAL LISTENING LINE FOR INDIVIDUALS NEEDING SUPPORT. BOTH THE 988 SUICIDE & CRISIS LIFELINE ARE ANSWERED BY 92 HIGHLY TRAINED LISTENERS WHO WORKED OVER 10,000 HOURS IN 2023 ANSWERING CALLS. CARING CONTACT SUPPORTS COMMUNITIES BY PROVIDING ACTIVE LISTENING, HOTLINE AWARENESS AND SUICIDE INTERVENTION TRAINING TO ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT NORTHERN NEW JERSEY.
