THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF ARTHROSCOPY, KNEE SURGERY AND ORTHOPAEDIC SPORTS MEDICINE (THE "SOCIETY") IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO ADVANCE THE WORLDWIDE EXCHANGE AND DISSEMINATION OF EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND PATIENT CARE IN ARTHROSCOPY, KNEE SURGERY AND ORTHOPAEDIC SPORTS MEDICINE. THE SOCIETY'S SUPPORT COMES MAINLY FROM MEMBER DUES, MEETING REGISTRATIONS AND EXHIBIT FEES AND DONATIONS.

THE SOCIETY PUBLISHES A PROFESSIONAL JOURNAL TO PROVIDE A FORUM FOR THE STUDY AND THE DISSEMINATION OF ADVANCES IN ARTHROSCOPY.
