BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS, NATIONALLY, HAS BEEN THE LEADER IN ONE-TO-ONE YOUTH SERVICE FOR MORE THAN A CENTURY, DEVELOPING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS THAT HAVE A DIRECT AND LASTING IMPACT ON THE LIVES OF YOUNG PEOPLE. BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF NORTHWESTERN WISCONSIN MENTORS OVER 500 CHILDREN, AGES 6 THROUGH 18, IN THE WISCONSIN COUNTIES OF EAU CLAIRE, CHIPPEWA, DUNN, ST. CROIX, AND TAYLOR COUNTIES. OF THE CHILDREN MATCHED, ABOUT 70% PARTICIPATE THROUGH OUR COMMUNITY BASED MENTORING PROGRAM AND 30% PARTICIPATE IN OUR SCHOOL/SITE BASED MENTORING PROGRAM.
