NLHA'S PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE COMMON INTEREST OF THOSE PERSONS ACTIVELY ENGANGED IN PROVIDING SERVICES WITH REFERENCE TO THE DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF LEASED HOUSING AND RELATED FACILITIES THROUGH PROVIDING A MECHANISM TO KEEP MEMBERS INFORMED OF NEW ADMINISTRATIVE AND LEGISLATIVE DEVELOPMENTS THAT AFFECT THE PROGRAM THROUGH AN INTERCHANGE OF INFORMATION AMONG THE MEMBERS; PRESENTING TO APPROPRIATE LEGISLATIVE AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICIALS THE VIEWS OF PARTICIPANTS CONCERNING ANY PROPOSED CHANGES THEREIN; INFORMING THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE OPERATION AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE LEASED HOUSING PROGRAM; AND OTHER THINGS NECESSARY OR PROPER TO FORWARD THE INTEREST OF THE LEASED HOUSING INDUSTRY.
