OUR MISSION IS TO SERVE AND SUPPORT OUR MEMBERS IN THE AMERICAN JUDO COMMUNITY WHILE UPHOLDING THE PRINCIPLES OF MUTUAL WELFARE AND BENEFIT.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE FEDERATION PROVIDES AN INTEGRATED SYSTEM OF STANDARDS, RANKINGS AND COMPETITIONS TO SERVE AND SUPPORT THE AMERICAN JUDO COMMUNITY. IN FISCAL 2020 THE FEDERATION SERVED 3411 MEMBERS AND 153 CLUBS/DOJOS. UNDER THE OVERSIGHT OF STANDARDS, 178 NEW CERTIFICATIONS AND 84 BLACK BELTS WERE AWARDED. COMPETITION IS INTEGRAL TO JUDO AND THE FEDERATION SANCTIONED 6 EVENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR.


AS A HIGHLY PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, JUDO HAS RISKS THAT REQUIRE SPECIALIZED INSURANCE COVERAGE.THE FEDERATION PROVIDES OVERALL INSURANCE FOR ACCIDENTAL MEDICAL AND LIABILITY TO MEMBERS AND CLUBS FOR CLASSES AND SANCTIONED EVENTS TO ENCOURAGE THE GROWTH OF JUDO.
