PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION: TO PROVIDE CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION, INCLUDING CURRENT CONCEPTS IN THE PRACTICE OF OPHTHALMOLOGY, THE ROLE OF OPHTHALMOLOGISTS IN THE HEALTH CARE INDUSTRY, ISSUES ARISING IN THE LEGISLATURE AND HEALTH RELATED POLICY BOARDS HAVING AN IMPACT ON THE OPHTHALMIC FIELD.
