THE MISSION OF THE MIDWEST SECTION PGA IS TO ESTABLISH THE SECTION AS A VIABLE, VALUABLE, VISIBLE SERVICE AND BUSINESS ORGANIZATION TO THE GOLFING COMMUNITY. IT ALSO STRIVES TO PROVIDE SECTION MEMBERS THE PROGRAMS, ACTIVITIES, AND PROFESSIONAL ATMOSPHERE NEEDED IN ORDER FOR THEM TO PURSUE THE MISSION OF GROWING THE GAME OF GOLF.

TOURNAMENTS: AS PART OF THE MIDWEST SECTION MISSION TO PROMOTE THE GAME OF GOLF, WE PROVIDE PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES FOR GOLF PROFESSIONALS AND AMATEURS ALIKE. THESE PLAYING OPPORTUNITIES ENCOURAGE MORE PARTICIPATION IN THE GAME OF GOLF BY PROMOTING THE GAME THROUGH ITS GRASS ROOTS EFFORTS.


EDUCATION: GOLF PROFESSIONALS ARE THE FOUNDATION OF GOLF. THE PROFESSIONALS ARE EXPERT INSTRUCTORS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS WHO HELP PROVIDE AFFORDABLE AND ACCESSIBLE GOLF TO EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE WITHIN MISSOURI. THE MIDWEST SECTION PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO ENSURE THAT GOLF PROFESSIONALS WILL REMAIN AT THE FOREFRONT OF THE GAME PROVIDING ENJOYMENT TO MANY FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.
