THE HOLCOMBE RUCKER SUMMER LEAGUE CELEBRATES IT'S 68TH YEAR OF PROVIDING AN OUTLET FOR 16,000 YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS DURING THE SUMMER TO PLAY BASKETBALL, RECEIVE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES, COMMUNITY SERVICE, COLLEGE PREP, SPORTS MANAGEMENT TRAINING, INDEPENDENT LIVING WORKSHOPS AND ON THE JOB TABLE OFFICIAL TRAINING. COMMUNITY RESIDENTS ALSO RECEIVE EMPLOYMENT AS OFFICIAL REFEREES, SITE DIRECTORS AND TABLE OFFICIALS. THE HOLCOMBE RUCKER COMMUNITY LEAGUE RUNS A 10 WEEKEND ANNUAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT AT THREE SITE SIMULTANEOUSLY.
