THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF JEWISH UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS OF UCI, CSUF, CHAPMAN UNIVERSITY AND THE ORANGE COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGES.

STUDENT ENGAGEMENT: STUDENT ENGAGEMENT FUND SUPPORTS ALL OF OUR PROGRAMS PLANNED BY THE STUDENT BOARD OF ALL OF OUR CAMPUSES. THIS FUND ALSO SUPPORTS LEADERSHIP TRAININGS, ONE ON ONE MEETINGS WITH STUDENTS, AND STUDENT TRIPS.


JEWISH AND ISRAEL FELLOWSHIPS - THIS PROGRAM WAS COHORT-BASED LEARNING. DURING THE COURSE OF THE YEAR WE RAN THREE DIFFERENT FELLOWSHIPS THAT GAVE STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT JEWISH EDUCATION AND ISRAEL POLITICS. STUDENT HEARD FROM A VARIETY OF SPEAKERS AND PRESENTERS THROUGHOUT THE DIFFERENT COURSES.


SHABBAT AND HOLIDAYS - THIS PROGRAM ALLOWS STUDENTS TO CELEBRATE OUR WEEKLY JEWISH HOLIDAY OF SHABBAT ALONG WITH THE MAIN JEWISH HOLIDAYS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THESE HOLIDAYS INCLUDE HIGH HOLY DAYS, HANUKKAH, PURIM, AND PASSOVER. WE DO THIS THROUGH COMMUNITY MEALS, HOLIDAY PARTIES, AND RITUAL OBSERVANCES. DURING THE PANDEMIC WE MADE A VARIETY OF MEAL BOXES FOR STUDENTS, MET WHEN SAFE, AND GATHERED ON ZOOM WITH SUPPLIES WE SENT TO STUDENTS.
