OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY ART EDUCATION AND EXHIBITIONS THAT NURTURE CREATIVITY, ACQUISITION OF ARTISTIC SKILLS, AND AESTHETIC APPRECIATION OF ART. OUR OUTSTANDING PROGRAMS BUILD COMMUNTIY THROUGH ACCESS, ENGAGEMENT, EXCELLENCE AND EQUITY.

THE ARTIST IN RESIDENCE PROGRAM PROVIDES QUALITY ART EUCATION PROGRAMS TO SCHOOLS, LIBRARIES, MUSEUMS, PARKS, COMMUNITY CENTERS, SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES AND FESTIVALS FOR PRESCHOOL TO SENIORS.


COTSEN MASTER RESIDENCY IS AN ENDOWED PROGRAM CONDUCTED EVERY 2 TO 3 YEARS WITH A CELEBRATED ARTIST.


PROJECT SILVER LINING IS A HOLISTIC, MULTI-DISCIPLINARY PROJECT INCORPORATING YOGA, MINDFULNESS TRAINING, FILM, AND VISUAL ARTS. THE PROGRAM IS STRUCTURED TO WORK WITH AT-RISK YOUTH AND INTRODUCE THEM TO THE ARTS AS EFFECTIVE MEANS TO ACCESS THEIR OWN VOICES, TO TRANSFORM THEIR ATTITUDES AND TO ENVISION THEIR FUTURE. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, TRUST, RESPECT, AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY ARE AT THE CORE OF THIS PROJECT.
