PROMOTE FAIR BUSINESS WITH RESPECT TO TRADE AND CONSUMERS - INCLUDES EXPENSE FOR MEDIA COVERAGE, PUBLICATIONS, AND OUTREACH TO TRADITIONAL NEWS MEDIA OUTLETS (I.E. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS CONCERNING ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES) AND SUPPORT OF 100 LOCAL INDEPENDENT, NON-PROFIT BBBS ACROSS THE U.S., CANADA, AND MEXICO.
PROMOTE FAIR ADVERTISING - OPERATION OF THE NATIONAL ADVERTISING DIVISION, NATIONAL ADVERTISING REVIEW BOARD, ADVERTISING SELF-REGULATORY COUNCIL, CHILDREN'S ADVERTISING REVIEW UNIT, ONLINE BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING, AND CHILDREN'S FOOD AND BEVERAGE ADVERTISING INITIATIVE, ALL OF WHICH ARE CONCERNED WITH DEVELOPING, MONITORING AND FOSTERING ADHERENCE TO ETHICAL GUIDELINES WITHIN THE ADVERTISING INDUSTRY THROUGH VOLUNTARY SELF-REGULATION.
