MINNESOTA LANDMARKS PRESERVES AND MANAGES LANDMARK CENTER AS A DYNAMIC, HISTORIC CULTURAL CENTER. IT INITIATES PROGRAMS AND PARTNERSHIPS THAT CELEBRATE THE CULTURAL DIVERSITY AND COLLECTIVE HISTORY OF THE COMMUNITY AND PROVIDES A CENTRAL GATHERING PLACE FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND ACTIVITIES THAT ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN OUR COMMUNITY.

MINNESOTA LANDMARKS MANAGES THE HISTORIC LANDMARK CENTER AS A YEAR-ROUND CULTURAL CENTER FOR THE COMMUNITY AND MAINTAINS THE ICONIC BUILDING AS AN AWARD-WINNING MODEL OF HISTORIC PRESERVATION AND A WIDELY RECOGNIZED, ENDURING SYMBOL OF RAMSEY COUNTY AND SAINT PAUL. ITS ACTIVITIES IN THIS AREA INCLUDE SPACE RENTAL, RESTORATION ACTIVITIES, CAPITAL PROJECTS AND GENERAL MAINTENANCE AND OVERALL MANAGEMENT OF THE LANDMARK CENTER BUILDING.


MINNESOTA LANDMARKS PROMOTES LANDMARK CENTER AS A YEAR-ROUND CULTURAL CENTER FOR THE COMMUNITY; DEVELOPS, FACILITATES AND PRESENTS AN ANNUAL SLATE OF NEARLY 250 FREE OR LOW-COST CULTURAL PROGRAMS AND HISTORY TOURS FOR DIVERSE AUDIENCES OF ALL AGES. ITS SIGNATURE ARTS, HISTORY AND CIVIC PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE "SUNDAYS AT LANDMARK" FAMILY SERIES, "URBAN EXPEDITION" FAMILY SERIES, THE HOLIDAY BAZAAR, "UNCLE SAM WORKED HERE" HISTORY AND LAW PROGRAMS, BALLET TUESDAY, SUMMER WALKING TOURS AND MANY OTHER SPECIAL ART EXHIBITIONS AND ANNUAL CULTURAL PROGRAMS.
