THE DEVOS URBAN LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE IMPLEMENTED A PROGRAM TO IDENTIFY, TRAIN, AND CONNECT YOUTH MINISTRY LEADERS IN URBAN, INNER-CITY COMMUNITIES. IN 2022, 47 PARTICIPANTS FROM LOUISVILLE, KY; DETROIT, MI; WASHINGTON DC; SAN ANTONIO, TX; AND PORTLAND, OR COMPLETED THEIR 15-MONTH PROGRAM. THE SELECTION PROCESS WAS ALSO COMPLETED FOR 57 PARTICIPANTS FROM NEW YORK CITY, NY; ORLANDO, FL; SAN DIEGO, CA; FRESNO, CA; AND CLEVELAND, OH. THE CURRICULUM WAS DELIVERED THROUGH IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS AND CONFERENCES TO BENEFIT PERSONS IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS WORKING WITH ATRISK YOUTH IN THEIR RESPECTIVE ORGANIZATIONS AND CITIES.
