THE FOUNDATION HAS ESTABLISHED A BAR CENTER WHICH PROVIDES SERVICES TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, ATTORNEYS, AND OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WHICH PROVIDE FREE LEGAL ASSISTANCE. THE MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO ADVANCE PUBLIC UNDERSTANDING AND RESPECT FOR THE RULE OF LAW AND THE ROLE OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION; TO PROMOTE THE HIGHEST IDEALS OF THE PROFESSION, PUBLIC SERVICE, AND ACCESS TO THE LEGAL SYSTEM; AND TO SUPPORT THE CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL GOALS OF THE MECKLENBURG COUNTY BAR.
