THE SANTA BARBARA AUDUBON SOCIETY'S MISSION IS IMPLEMENTED BY EDUCATION, SCIENCE-BASED PROJECTS AND ADVOCACY. OUR PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE LIVE RAPTOR PRESENTATIONS (EYES IN THE SKY), PUBLIC PRESENTATIONS, FIELD TRIPS, BIRD MONITORING (INCLUDING CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT AND WINTER BIRD COUNT FOR KIDS), ADVOCACY FOR PRESERVATION OF HABITATS, WATER QUALITY, AND INVERTEBRATES RESEARCH.
