VISITING NURSES OF BUTLER COUNTY INC. (DBA VNA, WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA) WORKS TO PROVIDE NEEDED HEALTH CARE SERVICES IN BUTLER, ARMSTRONG, MERCER, LAWRENCE, BEAVER, AND ALLEGHENY, AND WESTMORELAND COUNTIES. VNA CERTIFIED HOME HEALTH SPECIFICALLY OFFERS THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES: REGISTERED NURSES, LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES, PHYSICAL THERAPISTS AND PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANTS, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AND CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANTS, MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKERS, AND HOME HEALTH AIDES. THE VNA OF BUTLER COUNTY ALSO PROVIDES PROGRAMS SPECIFIC TO CHRONIC DISEASE MANAGEMENT AND HEALTH RELATED CONDITIONS INCORPORATING TECHNOLOGY AND SPECIALTY SERVICES IN ORDER TO REDUCE REHOSPITALIZATION AND IMPROVE PATIENT OUTCOMES.
