THE WISCONSIN HIGH SCHOOL FORENSIC ASSOCIATION PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN WISCONSIN TO ENHANCE COMMUNICATION SKILLS THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN THEATRE, DEBATE, AND SPEECH ACTIVITIES. WE ALSO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE COOPERATION AMOUNG VARIOUS EDUCATIONAL COMUNICATION AND THEATRE ORGANIZATIONS IN WISCONSIN, AND PROVIDE A FORUM FOR DEVELOPMENT OF STANDARDS, SKILLS, AND MATERIALS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THESE ACTIVITIES.

THE WISCONSIN HIGH SCHOOL FORENSIC ASSOCIATION OFFERS OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS AT 500 MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOLS TO ENHANCE COMMUNICATION AND PERFORMANCE SKILLS THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN THEATRE, DEBATE, AND SPEECH ACTIVITIES; PROVIDES TEACHING RESOURCES; AND OPERATES INTERSCHOLASTIC CONTESTS WITH MULTI-INSTITUTIONAL ASSESSMENT OF SKILL MASTERY. PARTICIPATION INCLUDES-THEATRE FESTIVAL: 1,240 STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS FROM 70 SCHOOLS; SPEECH FESTIVAL: 4,300 STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS FROM 341 SCHOOLS; SPEECH ADJUDICATOR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: 429 EDUCATORS.
