THE ROTARY CLUB OF JENKINTOWN ACHIEVED SEVERAL MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR. THE CLUB DIRECTLY SUPPORTED MORE THAN 3 LOCAL & NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS DURING DIFFICULT TIMES, INCLUDING 2,044 TO LOAVES & FISHES CUPBOARD, A LOCAL FOOD PROGRAM PROVIDING MEALS TO ELDERLY & SHUT-INS DURING COVID-19. IN ADDITION, WE SUPPORTED THE LOCAL YMCA DURING COVID, WHICH USED THE FUNDS TO ASSIST WITH CHILD-CARE PROGRAMS, WHILE MANY DAY CARE PROGRAMS WERE CLOSED.


THE CLUB MAINTAINED A WEBSITE SO THAT IT COULD EFFECTIVELY PROVIDE PROGRAM INFORMATION ABOUT OUR CLUB, ALONG WITH A SCHEDULE OF UPCOMING EVENTS & FUNDRAISERS. THE WEBSITE HAS BEEN SUCCESSFUL IN COMMUNICATING INFO WITH MEMBERS & NON-MEMBERS, AND CONTINUES TO BE UTILIZED MORE AND MORE ON A MONTHLY BASIS, AS REFLECTED BY WEBSITE USAGE STATISTICS AND DATA OBTAINED FROM THE WEB HOST.
