CROSSNET MINISTRIES SEEKS TO BUILD RELATIONSHIPS AND BUILD RESOURCES SO THAT EVERY PERSON IN ELANCO HAS THE OPPORTUNITY TO THRIVE AND BE SUCCESSFUL. PROGRAMS INCLUDE: A FOOD PANTRY, AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH, TUTORING, MENTORING, CASE MANAGEMENT, MONEY MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS, A TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY, EARLY CHILDHOOD RESOURCES, AND HOUSING PROGRAMS. PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAMS IS SUMMARIZED AS FOLLOWS: FOOD PANTRY - WITH 407 INDIVIDUALS SERVED PER MONTH, A YOUTH CENTER OPERATION WITH APPROXIMATELY 183 STUDENTS SERVED INCLUDING WITH 40 STUDENTS PER EVENING, A TUTORING PROGRAM ASSISTING APPROXIMATELY 26 STUDENTS IN THE FALL SEMESTER OF 2021, A MENTORING PROGRAM WITH CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY 32 MENTOR RELATIONSHIPS OR 64 TOTAL PARTICIPANTS PER MONTH, A CROSS JR. PROGRAM THAT RESULTED IN 12 STUDENTS COMPLETING THE PROGRAM, A POWER PACKS PROGRAM WITH APPROXIMATELY 60 YOUTH SERVED EACH MONTH, A CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY WITH 515 CHILDREN RECEIVING GIFTS, A BACKPACK GIVEAWAY THAT INCLUDED THE DISTRIBUTION OF 496 BACKPACKS FILLED WITH SUPPLIES, A WINTER COAT GIVEAWAY WITH 200 COATS DISTRIBUTED, SOCIAL SERVICES CASE MANAGEMENT SERVING 2,236 INDIVIDUALS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR, A TRANSPORTATION MINISTRY SERVING 25 INDIVIDUALS PER MONTH, A DIAPER PROGRAM SERVING 23 FAMILIES PER MONTH, A FREE SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM SERVING 700 LUNCHES PER RESULTING IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF APPROXIMATELY 7,500 LUNCHES FOR THE YEAR, A FREE COMMUNITY MEAL PROGRAM SERVING 275 INDIVIDUALS, A BUDDY BAG PROGRAM SERVING 138 CHILDREN, A CROSSNET HOUSING PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES HOUSING FOR 21 INDIVIDUALS, AND MONEY MANAGEMENT WORKSHOPS ASSISTING 23 INDIVIDUALS PER MONTH.
