PROVIDE A FORUM FOR EDUCATIONAL INTERACTION FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS IN THE FIELD OF HISTORY. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO STUDENTS WHO SUBMIT PAPERS, TRANSCRIPTS AND LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PREPARES JOURNALS FOR ITS MEMBERS AND OTHERS TO ENHANCE HISTORICAL EDUCATION AND ACHIEVEMENT.

THE PUBLICATION OF THE "HISTORIAN" JOURNAL AND "THE NEWSLETTER" JOURNAL. THESE PUBLICATIONS DISSEMINATE HISTORICAL INFORMATION. THE ORGANZIATION PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO STUDENTS THAT ASSIST IN THE PRODUCTION OF THESE PERIODICALS. APPROXIMATE MEMBERSHIP IS 15,000 TO 20,000. THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES ROYALTIES FROM PUBLISHERS AND FROM WEBSITES WITH RESPECT TO SALES OF THE "HISTORIAN" JOURNAL TO LIBRARIES AND OTHER NON- MEMBERS.
PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO COLLEGE STUDENTS AND RESEARCHERS THAT SUBMIT PAPERS, TRANSCRIPTS AND LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION. ELIGIBLE RECIPIENTS ARE MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION. ENCOURAGES THE STUDY OF HISTORY BY PROVIDING RECOGNITION TO STUDENTS, GRADUATES AND FACULTY FOR THEIR MEMBERSHIP IN THE ORGANZIATION THROUGH THE SALE OF SMALL ITEMS WITH THE ORGANIZATION'S LOGO TO SHOW MEMBERSHIP IN THE ORGANIZATION AT GRADUATION AND OTHER EVENTS.
