EFFECTIVE AUGUST OF 2016 D'YOUVILLE WOUND DOWN OPERATIONS AND PROGRAMMATIC ACTIVITY. GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT ARE IN THE PROCESS OF EVALUATING FUTURE ACTIVITIES TO BEST ALIGN WITH THE EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION.PRIOR TO THE WIND DOWN, D'YOUVILLE HAD OPERATED AN ENGAGED HOUSING PROGRAM. THE MANOR PROVIDED A COMPASSIONATE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR ITS RESIDENTS. RESIDENTS PARTICIPATED IN AN EVER-CHANGING SCHEDULE OF THERAPEUTIC, SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS ARTS AND CRAFTS, BINGO AND OTHER GAMES, FITNESS CLASSES AND RELAXATION EXERCISES. THE PROGRAM'S GOAL WAS TO KEEP RESIDENTS INTERESTED AND ENGAGED SO THAT THEY FUNCTION TO THEIR GREATEST POTENTIAL. SERVICES INCLUDED:(1) PRIVATE ROOMS AND SUITES WITH PRIVATE BATHS.(2) RESTRAINT FREE ENVIRONMENT.(3) ASSISTANCE WITH PERSONAL CARE.(4) PROFESSIONAL NURSING SERVICES, INCLUDING 24-HOUR STAFFING FOR OUR RESIDENTS' SECURITY AND ASSISTANCE.(5) PHYSICIAN SERVICES AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE(6) THERAPIES AS PRESCRIBED BY PHYSICIAN.(7) INDIVIDUALIZED MEDICATION AND HEALTH MONITORING.(8) EMERGENCY CALL SYSTEM IN EACH BEDROOM AND BATH.(9) HOUSEKEEPING, LINEN AND LAUNDRY SERVICES.(10) THREE RESTAURANT-STYLE MEALS PER DAY.(11) SHORT-TERM RESPITE/VACATION STAYS.(12) PLANNED RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND COMMUNITY OUTINGS.(13) HAIRDRESSER/BARBER SHOP.(14) ON-SITE RELIGIOUS SERVICES, INCLUDING DAILY MASS IN OUR ON-SITE CHAPEL.
