FAMILY ENGAGEMENT - THE OVERARCHING CATEGORY FOR STRATEGIES, PROGRAMS, AND RESOURCES TO ENGAGE FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN AND TO CONNECT THEM TO EACH OTHER AND TO JEWISH LIFE, LEARNING, AND COMMUNITY. THIS INCLUDES THE AGENCY'S WORK IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION.


JEWISH EDUCATION AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT (JELD) - PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES (WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS, ONLINE LEARNING AND CONFERENCES) TO STRENGTHEN EDUCATIONAL AND CONGREGATIONAL PROFESSIONALS AND TO CREATE COMMUNITIES OF LEARNERS.


THE TEEN ASSISTANT PROGRAM (TAP)/RETA EMERSON FELLOWSHIP IS JEWISH LEARNING VENTURE'S EDUCATION INITIATIVE THROUGH WHICH A GROUP OF SELECTED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ARE TRAINED AND MENTORED TO ASSIST CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND THOSE EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTY IN CONGREGATIONAL CLASSROOM SETTINGS AND IN THE COMMUNITY.
