TRANSITIONS IS A CRISIS CENTER THAT PROVIDES ADVOCACY, EMPOWERMENT, AND EDUCATION TO VICTIMS, SURVIVORS, FAMILIES, AND COMMUNITIES TO END PATTERNS OF VIOLENCE AND ABUSE.

THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES THE MAJORITY OF ITS FUNDING THROUGH PCADV, PCAR AND PCCD. IT BREAKS DOWN WHAT THE ORGANIZATION MUST SPEND ON EACH PARTICULAR EXPENSE. THIS INCLUDES DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT AND OTHER SERIOUS CRIMES AND COVERS RELOCATION FUNDS, EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR THOSE IN NEED, PREVENTION EDUCATION, MEDICAL AND LEGAL ADVOCACY, COUNSELING AND HELPS TO FUND THE 24/7 HOTLINE THAT IS AVAILABLE FOR VICTIMS IN UNION, SNYDER AND NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTIES.
