MONROE COUNTY YOUTH EMPLOYMENT SERVICE, INC. (YES) PROMOTED COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY AND EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS TO FOSTER PRODUCTIVE CITIZENSHIP, LIFELONG EMPLOY-ABILITY SKILLS AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR YOUTH IN THE REGION. YES MERGED WITH POCONO SERVICES FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN, INC. (PSFC) IN NOVEMBER OF 2019. PSFC IS THE SURVIVING CORPORATION. PSFC PLANS TO ADOPT THE YES PROGRAM ACTIVITIES, DESCRIBED ABOVE. THE TRANSITION BETWEEN THE ORGANIZATIONS WILL PROVIDE A CRADLE TO CAREER CONTINUUM OF PROGRAMMING BEGINNING WITH PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN AND CONTINUING THROUGH THEIR ADOLESCENT YEARS.
