THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A MUSEUM FOR THE HISTORICAL HERITAGE OF THE ELIZABETHTOWN AREA OF LANCASTER COUNTY, PA WHICH HOUSES VARIOUS HISTORICAL ARTIFACTS AND PROVIDES TOUR PROGRAMS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE ORGANIZATION IS SUPPORTED PRIMARILY THROUGH INVESTMENT INCOME, AND ALSO DERIVES REVENUE FROM MEMBERSHIP DUES AND SPECIAL EVENTS. BECAUSE LESS THAN ONE-THIRD OF REVENUE IS DERIVED FROM PUBLIC CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS, IT IS CLASSIFIED AS A PRIVATE FOUNDATION.
