THE BELMONT THEATRE IS YORK'S PROMINENT COMMUNITY THEATRE, CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT OF EXCELLENCE IN THE THEATRE ARTS THROUGH DIVERSE PERFORMANCES AND INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES.

SEASON SHOW PRODUCTION: THE BELMONT THEATRE PRESENTS NINE MAJOR PRODUCTIONS EACH SEASON PLUS ONE SPECIAL EVENT. CLASSES FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS AND SUMMER CAMPS COMPRISE AN EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM.


SUMMER CAMP: THE CLASSES AND CAMPS ARE DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE THE STUDENT TO THE PERFORMING ARTS AND TO ASSIST IN THE DEVELPMENT OF THE NECESSARY SKILLS. OTHER EDUCATION OPORTUNITIES ARE OFFERED DURING EACH PRODUCTION OF A SHOW FOR STUDENTS SUCH AS SOUND TRAINING, LIGHT DESIGN AND ENGINEERING, COSTUME DESIGN AND ORCHESTRAL OPPORTUNITIES.
