OUR CARING COMMUNITIES AND SERVICES ASSIST INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND CHILDREN IN REALIZING THEIR POTENTIAL AND ENJOYING THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH THE TRADITIONS OF FREEMASONRY.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY: PROVIDED A WIDE VARIETY OF HEALTHCARE AND RESIDENTIAL SERVICES TO AN AGGREGATE ELDERLY RESIDENT POPULATION AVERAGING APPROXIMATELY 2,860 THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AT FIVE DIFFERENT CAMPUSES. COMPLETED BUILDING FACADE AND MECHANICAL RENOVATIONS AT THE WARMINSTER LOCATION AT A TOTAL FINAL COST OF APPROXIMATELY 1.1 MILLION. COMPLETED RENOVATIONS TO COMMON AREAS WITHIN 4 BUILDINGS AT THE SEWICKLEY LOCATION AT A TOTAL FINAL COST OF APPROXIMATELY 3.6 MILLION. PROVIDED CHARITY CARE AND CARE NOT FULLY REIMBURSED BY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 36.1 MILLION.


CHILDREN'S HOME: PROVIDED A HOMELIKE ATMOSPHERE AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR A RESIDENT POPULATION AVERAGING APPROXIMATELY 37 CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AT THE CHILDREN'S HOME FREE OF CHARGE.


COMMUNITY SERVICE: PROVIDED HOME ASSISTANCE TO PEOPLE NOT RESIDING IN ONE OF MASONIC VILLAGES' FIVE LOCATIONS. THE COST OF THIS PROGRAM WAS 168,153. AWARDED SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING 30,500 TO LOCAL STUDENTS WHO ATTEND OR WILL ATTEND HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS AND TO QUALIFYING FAMILIES FOR CHILD DAY CARE SERVICES. PROVIDED MEETING AND CONFERENCE FACILITIES AT NO COST OR REDUCED COST FOR USE BY SEVERAL NOT-FOR-PROFIT AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS.
